I giorni della settimana

Days of the week

Learn the days for appointments, travel, work and leisure. Italian day names use lower-case letters. Lunedì, martedì, mercoledì, giovedì and venerdì keep the final written accent. An article can indicate a recurring event: il lunedì means on Mondays; lunedì alone can refer to a particular Monday.
