Un giorno a Roma

This morning Martina arrives in Rome by train.

She gets off at Roma Termini station and makes her way to her hotel.

She leaves her suitcase in the room and takes a small bag.

Before she starts sightseeing, she goes into a café.

She orders a cappuccino and an Italian croissant for breakfast.

After breakfast she takes the underground to the Colosseum.

Martina looks at the monument and takes lots of photographs.

Then she walks along the Imperial Forums to Piazza Venezia.

She walks through some streets in the city centre and reaches the Trevi Fountain.

In front of the fountain, she makes a wish and throws a coin into the water.

For lunch, she goes into a trattoria and orders a plate of pasta carbonara.

In the afternoon, she visits Piazza Navona and watches the street performers.

Shortly afterwards, she enters the Pantheon and admires its great dome.

Towards evening she crosses the Tiber and arrives in Trastevere.

Here she walks through the narrow streets, listens to music and eats an ice cream.

At the end of the day, she returns to the hotel tired but very happy.
